This campaign for IKEA explores the idea that every room has space for play — even for football.
For this concept, I created a fictional football player to emphasize the advertising idea without referencing any real person. As specific products, I used the POÄNG armchair, the SKOGSTA table and chair, and the BILLY bookcases.
To imitate a sports broadcast or “interview,” I added a name tag with the football player’s name — as in a real interview — and also labels with the names of the furniture items, as if they were rivals on the field. This approach also helps viewers quickly and conveniently find the products in the store catalog.
For static visuals, I used Google Nano Banana (to create basic IKEA-style backgrounds), then Runway to integrate reference objects into the interiors.
For video, I worked with HeyGen (lip-sync) and mainly Kling 2.1, since it responded best to detailed prompts.
Assembly and color correction were done in After Effects, with sounds and music from Epidemic Sound.
